won't back down

On this dark day, when the supposed "justices" of the California Supreme Court uphold the people's supreme right of bigotry against their fellow citizens and our "tireless supporter" in the white house is silent, here is an outpouring of love and support for all of California's LGBT citizens, from all over the US, courtesy of HRC.

Tonight, marches in support of our rights are taking place all over the country. Our BIG Thanks to each and every one of you. We will not back down. We love our beautiful and diverse state, and we will reclaim it in the name of equality for all.

(Hat tip to Rev. Susan Russell)

The Atlanta rally was small, but good.

I was expecting the CSC to rule this way, but what is getting me angrier are the people on the right who want to take the decision further--to invalidate the marriages of the lucky few whose marriages remain legal following this decision.

Gay marriage nationwide will be a reality, I think, before 2025. Too long in my book, but we will eventually win this.

Hey, sorry to be such a stalker... I found your blog randomly. I am currently working with the Human Rights Campaign here in NYC. Good to see people in other states fighting for the rights all should have. I hope you know, even some of us, who come from conservative religions are still trying to help marriage equality get passed. If you get a chance, feel free to check out our website www.broadwayimpact.com.
